Plaintiffs: John Spencer and his wife Joan, Robert Androo, John Shappwell, Richard Spencer, Sycely Soffe widow, Clement Sofe cousin and heir of Clement Sofe deceased (that is, son of Richard Sofe his brother), Stephen Warwicke, Joan Cole widow, William Cole son and heir of John Cole deceased, Thomas Burges, Thomas Peckam, Christian Russell and Richard Cooke, customary tenants by copy of court roll of the manor of Cadnam and Winsor [in Eling], Hampshire.
Defendant: William Pawlett, esq.
Subject of decree: Customs of the manor, especially those relating to inheritance of holdings, widow's freebench and fines.
