Captured ship: Die Vier Gebroeders or Les Quatre Frères of Harlingen (master Sjuke Pytters otherwise Sieckes Pytters, Seekes Pytters, Sjuke Pijters, Sjuke Pieter, Seekes Pieter).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (36 lasts, 5 men), bound from Bordeaux to Dunkirk, laden with wine, rosin and cork; taken on 25 July / 5 August 1747 off Beachy Head by the privateer Royal Oak (John Earle commanding), and brought into Dover.
