Captured ship: St Victor of Bordeaux (master Jean Couperie or Couprie or Coupier).
History: a French merchant ship (300 tons, 16 guns, 42 men), bound from Bordeaux to Quebec, laden with brandy, wine, salt and bale goods; taken on 8/19 June 1748 in the Bay of Biscay by the privateer Prince of Orange (John Viscounte commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
