Description

Captured ship: Les Trois Cousins of Calais (commander Antoine Portier).

History: a French privateer (20 tons, 30 men), bound from Calais on a cruise; taken on 5/16 March 1746 about 18 leagues east of Harwich by HMS Falcon (John Birmingham commanding), and brought into Dover.

  • [CP 6]: allegation;
  • [CP 4-CP 8]: attestation as to papers, and abstracts and translations of the 3 ship's papers.
