Captured ship: Le Triomphant of Bordeaux (master Joseph Bonnavanture Le Brunant or Le Brunent).
History: a French merchant ship (80 tons, guns, 19 men), bound from Bordeaux to Martinique, laden with beef, flour, candles and hoops; taken on 7/18 April 1748 in latitude 44°N by the privateer Grand Alexander (Matthew Combe commanding), and brought into Bristol.
