Captured ship: Le Triomphant of Paimpol (commander Antoine Pomelle otherwise Le Poumelee).
History: a French privateer (18 tons, 10 guns, 34 men), bound from Paimpol on a cruise; taken on 6/17 July 1745 about 3 leagues off Barfleur by the privateer Raleigh (Bourchier Durell commanding), and brought into Cowes.
