Captured ship: Le Trident of Brest (commander Marquis d'Amblimont or d'Emblimont).
History: a French warship (64 guns, 494 men) out of Brest; taken on 14/25 October 1747 in latitude 47°N by ships under the command of Rear Admiral Hawke during the second battle of Cape Finisterre, and brought into Portsmouth.
