Captured ship: La Thétis of Le Havre (master Nicolas Denys Glier otherwise de Glierre or Niglier).
History: a French merchant ship (180 tons, 14 guns, 30 men), bound from Le Havre to Martinique, laden with beef, flour, candles, butter and dry goods; taken on 6/17 May 1745 by the privateers Phoenix (Ephraim Cooke commanding) and Tryal (William Woods commanding), and brought into Kinsale, Ireland.
