Description

Captured ship: La Sacra Familia or El Peregrino of San Sebastian (master Louis Soleil).

History: a Spanish privateer (130 tons, 14 guns, 120 men), bound from San Sebastian on a cruise; taken on 15/26 April 1742 about 100 leagues west of the Scilly Isles by HMS Bideford (George Dawney commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
