Captured ship: St Pierre of Bayonne (master Michael Sallaberry otherwise Salaberry or Sallabery).
History: a French ship (120 tons, 30 men), bound from Bordeaux to Saint Domingue, laden with wine, flour, beef, bacon and cloth; taken on 30 October / 10 November 1744 in latitude 44°N by the privateer Prince Charles (Charles Gwynn commanding), and brought into Bristol.
