Captured ship: La Palme of Dunkirk (master Jean Jansen, succeeded by Jean Rombout).
History: a French privateer (50 tons, 14 guns, 57 men), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken on 27 July / 7 August 1744 off Ostend by HMS Wolf (Richard Haddock commanding), and brought into London.
