Captured ship: Printz Wilhelm of Hamburg (master Pieter Garloff Luders).
History: a Hamburg ship (60 Dutch lasts, 7 men), bound from St Martin to Dunkirk, laden with brandy; taken on 30 April / 10 May 1745 off Calais by the privateer Eagle (John Bazeley commanding), and brought into Dover.
