Captured ship: Prime Minister (master John Morecock or Moorecock).
History: an English privateer (240 tons, 30 guns); taken on 21 October / 1 November 1744 off Cape Finisterre by the French warship Argonaut (which put 21 French prize crew on board, with the 50-60 English prisoners) and retaken on 25 October / 5 November 1744 by the privateer Tryal of Bristol (William Woods commanding), in sight of the Argonaut, and brought into Kinsale.
