Captured ship: La Pluma of Cadiz (commander formerly Phelix Romero, otherwise Felix Remoro and lately Joseph Casellas).
History: a Spanish privateer (50 tons, 14 guns, 52 men), bound from Cadiz on a cruise; taken 5/11 January 1744 between Viana and Caminho on the coast of Portugal by HMS Saphire (Charles Holmes commanding), and brought into Lisbon.
