Captured ship: Le Petit St Jean of Honfleur (master William Laumosne otherwise Guillaume Laumesne).
History: a French ship (120 tons, 16 men) bound from Newfoundland to Honfleur, laden with mudfish, salt and train oil; taken on 30 July / 10 August 1744 by the privateers Charming Nancy (Nicholas Le Couteur commanding) and Squirrel (Gideon Villeneuve commanding) and brought into Jersey.
