Captured ship: Le Petit Fonds of Bordeaux (master Antoine La Marque).
History: a French ship (Boston built, 100 tons, 2 guns, 18 or 19 men), bound from Petit Gouave and Cap Francois, Saint Domingue to Bordeaux, laden with sugar, coffee, indigo and hides; taken on 23 June / 4 July 1747 in latitude 48°N by HMS Hampton Court (Savage Mostyn commanding), and brought into London.
