Description

Captured ship: Notre Dame de Veux of L'Orient (commander Jean Fleury).

History: a French privateer (50 tons, 104 men), bound from St Malo on a cruise; taken on 15/26 July 1744, about 9 leagues north of the Sept Isles, by the privateer Adventure (Thomas Israel commanding), and brought into Falmouth.
