Captured ship: Notre Dame de Caderos of Marseilles (master François Isnard or Dinard or Isuard).
History: a French merchant ship (150 tons, 4 guns, 22 men), bound from Guadeloupe to Bordeaux, laden with sugar, coffee and cotton; taken on 8/19 March 1748 in latitude 44°, about 100 leagues from Cape Finisterre, by HMS Augusta (Hugh Bonfoy commanding), part of Sir Peter Warren's squadron, and brought into Plymouth.
