Captured ship: La Neréide of Bordeaux (master Antoine Rouillié).
History: a French merchant ship (120 tons, 10 guns, 27 men), bound from Martinique to Bordeaux, laden with sugar and coffee; taken on 6/17 June 1744 about 50 leagues off the Surlings [Isles of Scilly] by the privateer Constantine (John Read commanding), and brought into the River Thames.
