Description

Captured ship: Nuestra Senora del Pilar, also La Dichosa (master Juan Florencio de Miranda).

History: a Spanish privateer (40 tons, 2 guns, 41 men), bound on a cruise; taken on 20 June/1 July 1747 near Cape Ortugal by HMS Viper sloop (Robert Roddam commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
