Description

Captured ship: Notre Dame de Boulogne of Dunkirk (commander Pierre Blanckeman).

History: a French privateer (30 tons, 12 guns, 56 men), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken on 21 June/1 July 1744 by HMS Wolf sloop (Richard Haddock commanding), and brought into London.
