Captured ship: St Michael of Dunkirk (master Pieter Le Fever).
History: a French privateer (50 tons, 32 men, 20 English prisoners), bound from Dunkirk on a cruise; taken in fight on 16/27 May 1745 off Nieuwpoort by the privateer Swift (George Hudson commanding), and brought into the Downs.
