Captured ship: Mette and Christine otherwise Die Twee Travens Mettha et Christina (master Hans Martenson).
History: a Danish merchant ship (200 tons), bound from Riga to Ireland, laden with timber and staves; taken on 7/18 July 1747 off Dungeness by the privateer Culloden (Abraham Boxell commanding), and brought into the Downs.
