History: a French privateer (35 tons, 6 guns, 61 men), bound on a cruise; taken on 16/27 May 1746 off Torbay by HMS Hastings (Archibald Stuart commanding) and HMS Jamaica (James Webb commanding), and brought into Portsmouth .
