History: a Danish merchant ship (80 lasts, 13 men), bound from Barcelona and Alforque to Rotterdam, laden with wine, brandy and fish; taken on 28 April / 9 May 1748 west of the Shingles [Dungeness] by the privateer Hunter (Wilson Smith commanding), and brought into the Downs.
