Captured ship: La Mutine of Nantes (master François De Lorme or Delorme).
History: a French merchant ship with a letter of marque (150 tons, 6 guns, 25 men), bound from Nantes to Martinique, laden with beef, flour, wine, cloth, and oil; taken on 20/31 October 1747 in latitude 40° by HMS Centurion (Peter Denis commanding), and brought into Portsmouth.
