History: a French ship (12 tons), bound from St Savinien to Port Louis, laden with earthenware; taken on 9/20 July 1746 in the Bay of Biscay by the privateer Mary Galley of Guernsey (Samuel Thoume commanding), and ransomed for 600 livres with the cabin boy taken as hostage.
