Captured ship: St Michel (master Simon Ivenon or Yvenon).
History: a French ship (6 men), bound from Bordeaux to Quimper, laden with wine and earthenware; taken in April 1746 in the Bay of Biscay by the privateers Mary Galley (Samuel Thoume commanding) and Fox (John Beal commanding), and brought first into New Havre [Newhaven ?], then into Southampton and finally into Guernsey.
