Captured ship: Martinus en Wiskien (master Jan Pytters or Pyters or Pieters).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (80 lasts, 5 men and a boy), bound from Bordeaux to Dunkirk, laden with wine, brandy, vinegar, prunes, almonds, cock feathers and ham; taken on 15/26 April 1747 between Dover and Calais by the privateer Endeavour (Robert Crouscall commanding), and brought into Dover.
