Captured ship: Lyme Galley (master William Trenn, and Jean Baptiste Le Bonhomme as prize master).
History: an English merchant ship (150 tons, 10 men), bound from Plymouth to South Carolina, laden with slaths (basket weavings); taken on 6/17 June 1745 20 leagues off Ushant by the French privateer Duke de Clermont; retaken on 8/19 June 1745 by the privateer Great Britain (William Wilson commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
