Captured ship: Le Loup of St Malo (master Francois Collin de la Brisselaine).
History: a French privateer (150 tons, 18 guns, 100 men including 'one Negroe' from St Malo), cruising the Channel; taken on 1/12 March 1747 by HMS Amazon (Samuel Falkner commanding) 14 leagues off St Malo, in sight of HMS Grand Turk, and brought into Plymouth.
