History: a French merchant ship (26 tons, 9 men), bound from Bayonne to Nantes, laden with pitch and rosin; taken on 12/23 July 1746 in the Bay of Biscay by the privateer Mary Galley (Samuel Thorne commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
