Captured ship: The Louisa (master Petter/Peter Strandberg).
History: a Swedish merchant ship (10 Swedish lasts, 3 men), bound from Uddevalla, Sweden, to Le Havre, laden with pitch and steel; taken on 10/21 May 1745 four Swedish miles from Dieppe by the privateer Sutherland (John Sutherland commanding), and brought into Dover.
