Captured ship: Laetitia of Bristol (master William Jackson).
History: an English ship (120 tons, 14 men), bound from South Carolina to Bristol, laden with rice, pitch, tar and hides; taken on 15/26 April 1745 by the French privateer La Grande Biche of St Malo (Nicholas Jourdain commanding) and sent home to St Malo, but retaken on 18/29 April 1745 off the Munster coast of Ireland by the Elizabeth (Daxon commanding) and the London Packet (Terence Ternon commanding) and brought into Cork.
