Captured ship: St Joseph of Libourne (master Pierre Perret).
History: a French ship (45 tons), bound from Libourne laden with wine; taken on 30 April / [11 May] 1747 (deserted by her crew who escaped ashore in a small boat) off the mouth of the Gironde by the privateer Cumberland (John Mauger commanding) and brought into Guernsey.

- [CP 3]: allegation;
- [CP 4]: abstracts and translations of the 28 ship's papers.
Ship’s Papers numbered SP 1-SP 28, comprising a small master's archive.
- SP 1-SP 2: 2 playing cards: a queen of diamonds and an eight of hearts, with notes and sum written on the reverse, mentions Isaac Dobrée;
- SP 3-SP 4: 2 notes relating to the ship's cargo;
- SP 5-SP 7: 2 customs papers issued at Libourne, instructions for the captain;
- SP 8-SP 9: 2 lists of provisons;
- SP 10-SP 15: ship's pass issued at Hennebone, rough accounts and notes;
- SP 16-SP 18: ship's pass issued at Libourne, bill of lading, provision list;
- SP 19-SP 22: 3 letters from Simon Fourcaud to the captain, Pierre Perret;
- SP 23-SP 28: 2 bills of lading, 2 receipts, provision list, guide to French signals;
