History: a French merchant ship (8 guns, 28 men and 3 Irish passengers), bound from Martinique to Bordeaux, laden with sugar and coffee; taken on 11/22 May 1744 near Lisbon by the privateers Fame (Phillips Comyn commanding) and Winchelsea (John Gerald commanding), and brought into Lisbon.
