Captured ship: Sanct Jurgen (master Jurgen Rulossen, Rolfsa or Rulessen).
History: a Danish merchant ship (54 Danish lasts, 10 men) formerly St Nicholas Church, bound from Hamburg to Malaga, laden with pipe staves, linen, short boards, and lemons; taken on 24 May/ 4 June 1748 between Dover and Dungeness by the privateer St Michael (George Cuningham commanding), and brought into the Downs.
