Captured ship: Die Jungfer Margaretha, Juffrouw Margaretha orJungfrau Margaretha (master Hinrich Bielenberg, Billenberg or Bielenger).
History: a Hamburg merchant ship (140 Dutch lasts, 10 men), bound from Hamburg to Cadiz, laden with pipe staves, linen, tin, candles, silver and gold buttons, sugar, coffee and toys; taken on 18/29 April 1745 off Dungeness by the privateer Eagle (John Bazely commanding), and brought into Dover.
