Captured ship: L'Intriguant of La Rochelle (master Honoré Louis Billouin).
History: a French merchant ship (200 tons, 10 guns, 2 swivels, 29 men, formerly the Plutus) bound from Petit Gouave, Saint Domingue to La Rochelle, laden with sugar and indigo; taken on [20/31 July 1744 at latitude 45º 30’] by the privateer Recovery (Mark Anderson commanding), and brought into the River Thames.
