History: Spanish wool taken from a Dutch merchant ship, bound from Alicante, at Villafranca [Villefranche sur Mer] on 24 September / 5 October 1742 by HMS Royal Oak (Philip Vincent commanding), and brought into Nizza [Nice, Savoy].
