History: a French privateer (180 tons, 36 guns, 142 men) bound fron Nantes on a cruise; taken in fight on 18/29 September 1746 in latitude 46º50'N near Ushant by HMS Nottingham ([Richard] Dorrell commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
