History: a French privateer (40 tons, 14 guns, 54 men, 52 of them French, 2 Dutch), bound from Boulogne on a cruise; taken on 12/23 October 1746 by HMS Jamaica (Marriot Arbuthnot commanding), and brought into Portsmouth.
