Captured ship: De Frau Aalchie or La Demoiselle Alide of Bergen (master Hinrich Muller); formerly De Endracht and before that the Delight.
History: a Danish (Norwegian) merchant ship (170 tons, 9 men and 2 boys), bound from Marseilles via Cette [Sète] to Bremen, laden with wine, olives, capers, oil, anchovies and brandy; taken on 22 April / 3 May 1748 one mile off Dungeness by the privateer Lark (William Marsh commanding), and brought into Dover.
