Captured ship: Friends Goodwill (master John Doulman or Doleman, or as a Spanish prize, master Linio or Hinio Montate or Monto).
History: an English ship (120 tons, 6 guns) bound from Jamaica to London, laden with sugar and rum; separated from its covoy by bad weather, and taken on 21 October 1743 by the Spanish privateer Nuestra Senora de el Choro whose master Don Joseph Falle was then tricked by the English navigator into sailing the ship for the coast of England but arrived at Aberystwyth in Wales on 28 October 1743 amid further bad weather, where the ship was seized by customs officials.
