Captured ship: Friends' Adventure (master John Allen, or, as a French prize, Pierre Sibion).
History: an English ship (130 tons, 15 men) originally bound from Bristol to South Carolina, laden with various merchandises; taken by the French privateer Sanspareille, retaken on 13 October 1745 near Bordeaux by the privateer Guernsey (David Pinaux commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
