Captured ship: De Frau Adelheit otherwise Juffrouw Adelide (master Pieter Niendahl).
History: a Danish ship (110 tons, six men), bound from Bordeaux to Amsterdam, laden with wine, prunes, chestnuts and dry goods; taken on 11 January 1748 by the privateer Hawk (Thomas Holman commanding), and brought into Rye.
