Captured ship: St François (master Jean Lafargue or Lafalgue).
History: a French ship (180 tons, 4 guns, 23 men), bound from Bordeaux to Quebec, laden with wine, brandy and bale goods; taken on 17 April 1748 by the privateer Cezar (Daniel Roland commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
