Captured ship: Den Fliegende Ram (master Pieter Kiergaald).
History: a Danish ship (80 tons, 9 men 2 boys), bound from St Martin to Bergen, laden with salt and brandy; taken on 28 April 1748 leaving St Martin by the privateer Tartar (Thomas Spicer commanding), and brought into Dover.
