History: a French ship (200 tons, 12 guns, 5 men and 4 passengers), bound from Martinique to Le Havre , laden with sugar, cotton and coffee; taken on 11 June 1746 by the privateer Salamander (Henry Strangways commanding), and brought into Portsmouth.
