Captured ship: the Dursley Galley (master William Braginton, then as a Spanish prize, Don Domingo).
History: an English merchant ship, taken on 4 / 15 May 1744 by the Spanish privateer St Nicholas alias Extravaganza of St Sebastian, when bound from South Carolina to Cowes laden with sugar, rum, cotton, indigo and elephant's teeth [ivory]; and retaken on 27 May / 7 June 1744 in Muros harbour, Galicia, by a boat from the privateer Vulture (Hugh Bromedge commanding), and brought first into Kinsale, and then into Bristol.
